Before attending Stanford Graduate School of Business for her MBA, Cherie was a senior product manager at LinkedIn, leading the development of consumer and enterprise learning products.

  • Pinyu Liao

    Biomedical Computation Major at Stanford

    Pinyu Liao is a scientist, blogger, and advocate for proper antibiotic stewardship and global health. Since losing her grandmother to a bacterial infection in 2019, she has worked on several initiatives to make a change in the antibiotic resistance crisis, from advocacy towards proper antibiotic usage with her documentary, β€œThe Quest to Stop Antibiotic Resistance,” which was recognized by the World Health Organization, to researching antibiotic resistance using computational biology. As a first-generation immigrant, she is also passionate about STEM educational outreach through founding the blog, Lavender + Lab Coats, a website dedicated to sharing her journey as an aspiring biomedical scientist.

From the Congo to the Vatican, Zach has interviewed hundreds of people on their beliefs in how remote work can change the world. Zach is currently an MBA student at Stanford, and after graduating in June, he hopes to resume his life on the road.
